About Us

Research-to-Practice-to-Research (RPR) Exchange is a set of tools designed to help primary care clinicians and researchers affiliated with the Oklahoma Clinical and Translation Science Institute (OCTSI) more effectively collaborate to improve the quality of primary health care services available to Oklahomans. It has the following four components:

  • Website: The website you have entered is a searchable repository of published materials chosen based upon “value of information” criteria applied to primary care (size and impact of the concern, potential impact of the intervention, likelihood of implementation of the intervention, and sustainability of the intervention and its impact). The repository is available for use by both authorized users and the public.
  • RSS Feeds: Authorized users are invited to receive e-mail notifications when new materials are added to the repository. They can specify which types of materials they would like to be notified about.
  • Clinician Input Channel: Authorized clinician users are invited to submit clinical observations, questions, and suggestions to site administrators and researchers and to initiate forum discussions on topics of interest. Forums may also be used to develop research projects.
  • Listserv: Authorized users are invited to join the Oklahoma Physicians Resource/Research Network (OKPRN) listserv, which is a convenient way for primary care clinicians to interact in a less formal venue.
