RPR Commentary

This is a draft template for provider-patient agreements regarding appropriate opioid use as required by Oklahoma SB-1446. It contains all of the required information and some of the language directly out of the bill.  It is also modeled after the suggestions of the American Academy of Pain Medicine. 

Abstract

This Patient-provider agreement records the discussion about the patient’s rights and consent to treatment for chronic pain, particularly when the treatment involves using a controlled substance or any opioid drug.
